Timbri Hotel San Francisco Curio Collection by Hilton

The hotel it self is beautiful and comfortable. Now the area around it is a bit of a wild card so if you don’t know San Francisco you might be in for a trip. Very centrally located, the shops are near, and the event venues are also close just be weary when walking around because there are interesting characters around ( which is to be expected you’re in downtown) other than that had a very comfortable stay. Very cozy bed and clean room. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel, maybe next time!

The staff were fantastic and always on hand. The hotel is very stylish and modern. The gym was very well equipped. There was an unexpected $15 credit given to us which we could spend on food and drinks at the hotel

There were no hooks in the room. No where to put wet towels or hang out coats. The cleaning was very basic and the toilet paper and tea/coffee was never filled up we had to ask daily which was a bit of a pain. There were multiple unexplained taxes on our bill even though we had pre paid.

The rooms were interesting. The location was good for me. HOWEVER, if you don’t know/understand about the area you will likely be unhappy. Doing in research before you stay will benefit/prepare you for the location.

What I didn’t like, is how in the heck can they charge you a destination fee to be located in the TENDERLOIN of S.F. get out of here with that. I would stay At Hotel Nikko, Chancelor, and Hotel Donatello instead. Better location and not in the middle of TL.
