The steak restaurant was delicious and the waiters were very polite and friendly.
The bathroom in the room was old and did not have a hair dryer. The tub would not drain properly. The windows to look outside were very dusty and dirty. When we checked out Friday morning the gentlemen that helped us was not pleasant at all. All He said was "here's your receipt for the parking and resort fee." No thank you for staying with us nothing. He seemed so rude, didn't appreciate our business I guess.
charming historical hotel - absolutely stunning at Christmas. Rooms are unique and quaint and very old - but original. the decor is stunning. The courtyards and views are beautiful.
customer service is terrible - everyone seems like it's their first day. Valet takes over an hour each time you get your car, food tastes like cafeteria food, rooms are not well cleaned, TONS of street noise
Beautiful hotel and grounds with so much history and special details, mid November but really enjoyed the Christmas lights already put up, one of the nicest places we’ve stayed for a great value for the experience.
Wish we could have stayed longer.
It's a pretty building. The pool was very pretty. The place is wonderful for photographs because of design and decor. The valets are always moving, they work hard.
1. Room Quality: The room had burnt-out bulbs, and the closet was so small that my short dress touched the dirty carpet. The soap pumps were broken, and the bed was soft and lumpy. Noise from cleaning staff started around 6 a.m., echoing through the courtyard and making sleep difficult without earplugs. The chocolate-covered almonds offered were unpleasant. 2. Management: I called management five times and left messages, but they never returned my calls. 3. Front Desk Service: The front desk staff were polite but very slow, making check-in and check-out time-consuming. A manager promised no extra charges post-stay, yet I was charged $200 without explanation or a receipt three days later. 4. Facility Accessibility: This hotel is not suited for seniors or people with disabilities. My father, a veteran with a cane, struggled with the long walks and uneven floors. They provided a broken wheelchair with only one footrest. Despite requesting a roll-in shower, we received a room with a tub. My mother injured herself reaching for towels placed far from the tub. Staff only offered an ice pack and eventually moved us to a new room, but we had to move ourselves after a long wait. 5. Restaurants: The Mexican restaurant had a 30-minute wait despite being nearly empty. The Italian restaurant was easier to get into, but service was slow, and the food was cold and bland. Dessert options were also disappointing, with incorrect orders and uninspired cake. 6. Pool Area: The pool, advertised as heated, was cold. The jacuzzi was oily and had a strange color, seeming unclean. 7. Parking: Parking was a hassle. There’s no proper Tesla charger, and the garage is hard to navigate. I got stuck exiting, and the valet initially ignored me. Stairways lead into a foul-smelling area, so I took the risky route down the ramp instead. 8. Nearby Coffee Shop: The coffee shop’s mint tea and egg sandwich tasted fishy and gross. Stay somewhere else - anywhere else.
