RiversideDidn't like paying 40.00 dollars a night for parking. Also on booking..com there was no mention of a resort fee to be collected at check-in. That added another 100.00 dollars to cost.
Beautiful property not the greatest staff.
I’ve stayed here three times over the past 5 months. Each room was very unique - never the same thing twice! The last room 256 was way bigger than i expected and very nice. Also, my gf and I walked all around the property and still feel like we missed things. It’s a site to see especially around Christmas
Hmmmm can’t think of anything
The Mission Inn is a truly stunning property — from its historic architecture and lush, flower-filled grounds to the peaceful pool area and overall cleanliness, it feels like a five-star resort. You could easily spend hours just exploring. That said, the service doesn’t quite match the setting; staff aren’t particularly warm or attentive, and little details like room service trays left in the hallway all day detract from the experience. But to be fair, you’re also not paying Four Seasons prices — it’s quite affordable for what you get, and in that sense, it delivers great value. Just go in knowing it’s more about the atmosphere than the service.
The iconic building and its history.
Hard to find a pool deck lounge for relaxing and I don’t agree with adding a resort fee to room costs.
The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help when needed. The Mission Inn restaurant was outstanding. Food and staff.
The air conditioner in the room was not working properly and room was very hot during the night. Fan is loud and never turns off. The street noise was terrible. Room 102 was not the best
Always a beautiful stay.
There was a rude front desk young lady. I did not interact with her but my family and friends did. Short story I had three rooms and the my partner was put in a regular king instead of the junior suite. Contacted the front desk and that’s when it went awry. This young lady wore a pony tail or bun and was white. She was witnessed by my group as they were attempting to clear the room mishap situation.
