I upgrade the room for premium room , I pay extra for that , the fan on the washroom was very very bad and making a voice it keep in my head , all the room shaking from the voice , I couldn’t turn it off because of the humidity when I take shower ,
Beautiful view
I was overcharged excessively
The things I didn’t like outweighed what I could have liked.
1. Room Maintenance: The master ensuite faucet sprayed water uncontrollably, likely due to a missing filter or aerator. This basic maintenance issue should have been addressed before our arrival. 2. Unreliable WiFi: Internet access was inconsistent. Despite not leaving the hotel, we had to log in numerous time, interrupting our connectivity and work. 3. Poor Breakfast Experience: The continental breakfast was unacceptable. The eggs were flavorless, comparable to cardboard, and we were seated on a noisy, exhaust-filled patio despite many empty indoor tables. By the time we got drinks and sat down in the outdoor patio, our food was cold. 4. Elevator Chaos: Only one elevator serviced our floor (18th), while five others were out of order — during a busy Canada Day weekend. Wait times were so long that we opted to stay in our room for meals rather than face the commute. 5. Forced Room Upgrade & Booking Confusion: Upon check-in, I was pressured to upgrade for a "full falls view," even though my booking already stated that. After upgrading to room 1807, my reservation still showed 1806 or some other number, causing endless confusion. Every time I provided my name and room number, staff insisted I provided them a wrong room number, undermining my credibility. 6. Check-Out Nightmare: I had confirmed an extended check-out when booking and again at check-in. However, my key stopped working while I retrieved our car. I was sent back and forth between front desk staff multiple times taking the only and busy elevator going up down, reprogramming the key, only to find it still didn't work. After being passed to four different staff members with no resolution, I demanded help. Manager Jacklyne told me she would not assist me unless I “calmed down,” despite the fact that my my elderly parents and children were waiting, packed and ready to leave. Only after involving security was the door finally opened.
You need to walk to Clifton Hills (about 20 mins walk or 10 min drive). If you just want to look at the falls from the corner, you’ll need to pay $3 to take a lift down to the Falls.
We booked a room with the Falls view based on photos posted on Booking.com. Upon arrival at the property, we were shown a printed photo from the room that we booked and there was a massive building blocking the Falls view. The hotel staff apologized, but only offered for us to pay an $150 additional to upgrade to the room we had originally booked, which is an absolute scam.
Nice view, room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly.
Way overpriced. Internet should always be included in a room stay. Was offered a complementary late checkout because of a previous terrible stay the night before. And then ended up getting charged on my card for it.
Not the best, fake eggs , watery, looked very messy and it was not well stocked . It looked like animals were on the buffet, stuff all over, same at cocktail hour and snacks in the bar, very nasty. Never clean n tidy . Sad but true .
We arrived late , our room was supposed to be for 5 people...had to call 4/5 times Not enough anything for towels, washcloth, blankets, toiletries, etc ... Then the beds were made w flat sheets on the bottom/base... supposed to be fitted sheets, ugh, then the white blanket/ comforters were dirty ....very nasty , felt like I was getting bit....I slept on top ...very up n down with high anxiety....I was extremely disappointed
