Good hotel with easy access to town
They advertised free parking but while checking in, billed for parking. Had to argue to get it taken off the bill
The room and the bed were comfortable. It was great to have coffee available at all hours
The location is not particularly useful for visiting Portland, although I understand that makes the price of a room there somewhat ,owner than hotels in more convenient locations. Still, I think it is overpriced for what it is. They also try to trick people into paying for parking, when there is a huge largely empty parking lot even in the middle of summer. Staffing is minimal, but I know that is an issue everywhere.

This is a motel. They tried to impose a "parking fee." We've used this motel for years and this was the first time this happened. I complained and it was waived. But for a motel to impose a parking fee is just plain greedy.
