The Newbury Boston

The location is good, near the park and the center of the city. The hotel is new, but they have to improve a lot to be a 5-star hotel. The room and bathroom are big, but they lack personality, totally empty.

The hotel is not a 5-star hotel; it might be, but there are lots of things to change: train their staff, improve the facilities of their room. We had many problems with the room service, almost 45 minutes to bring in the room a cup of ice cream... 30 minutes to wait for the car from the parking lot(it was supposed to be 20 minutes). We waited more than 30 minutes. At the moment of the billing, they made so many mistakes with the credit cards, breakfast was poor, not many choices, and also the manager and waiters were not trained; they were trying to sell toasted bread as sourdough bread... for what we paid, we did not receive good service.

Excellent location across from Commons, and along north end of Newbury Street. We stayed in a beautiful, modern room. Looking forward to the next visit.
