The Meritage Resort And Spa

We stayed at the Grand Reserve side. I loved it! Being on the side with the ice rink. Loved hearing the music and seeing the tree lite.

The Christmas tree turned off at 10pm.

Good location

We were supposed to have a balcony, but didn't. We had a breakfast credit of $60. Room Service took over 2 1/2 hours. Ordered at 6:40 a.m. No option to pick time. Auto scheduled for 7:40 a.m. which was fine. Not delivered until 8:15 a.m. That was after 2 phone calls. Next day, we went to the restaurant. We were seated quickly, but waited 45 minutes for the meal after ordering. Clearly, they have a staffing issue.

We loved the experience for our 4-year-old daughter. She met Santa and ice skated.

The staff was rude; I called the day before because we wanted to check in early, and we got the room almost at 5 pm! We were traveling with our years-old daughter. The staff was not even trying!! Even tho we turned down the heater, the room was hot! There is no division between the bathtub and the bed.

The bowling alley was fun and the Ember Steakhouse was good, but our room wasn’t available until an hour after check in and the rooms are very underwhelming and way overpriced.

Our room was not ready on time and the staff did not seem to care too much about it.
