Jul 2025Hobo Helsinki is a brand-new design-focused hotel with great bones: smart design, a bustling lobby bar, and a central location that makes it easy to get in from Vantaa and get around on foot or by public transit. The budget rooms are compact (read: very small), but workable for a solo traveler on a short stay. What it lacks in space, it makes up for in style and personality including playful touches throughout (the complimentary slippers are a delight!), and one of the best hotel breakfast buffets I’ve had in a while. Tons of fresh, thoughtful options for all diets, and a perfect spot to fuel up before a full day of meetings or wandering the city.
