North Dakota: One Day in Fargo, ND - Travel Vlog | What to Do, See, & Eat! For state #35 on our journey to all 50 states in a year (2021) we made our way to North Dakota! As most of you probably know, our travels tend to be short and sweet, so to make the most of our time, we decided to spend our one day in the state’s largest city, Fargo! At first glance (or Google search), Fargo doesn’t necessarily knock your socks off. It’s a fairly quiet, unassuming town that someone might drive through without stopping if they didn’t know any better. But it didn’t take us long to realize the one key thing that makes Fargo such a special place… the people. We’ve never been to another place with such a strong sense of togetherness. This was one of the few states where we really had the opportunity to spend time with some of the locals and hear their hearts, and the one common thread through every conversation was community. The way they care for, support, and simply love each other was truly inspiring. We found ourselves getting wrapped up in conversation and forgetting why we were there… to film a vlog! Then we realized, “No… THIS is why we’re here”. Getting to connect with such genuine and kind individuals like we did in Fargo was absolutely soul warming. So, thank you Fargo! We left the Peace Garden State with clear eyes and full hearts. That’s not to say that we didn’t enjoy the other aspects of our time in Fargo. We had some amazing meals at Twenty Below Coffee Co, Brew Bird, and Prairie Kitchen, saw some beautiful sites on our eBike tour with Jon at Nature of the North and had some amazing beers with Mark at Drekker Brewing Company and we truly hope to make a return visit to Fargo!
