Highlight of my recent trip to Budapest was booking this wine tasting experience through @getyourguidecommunity . We had 5 glasses of wine to try (2 whites, 2 reds and 1 dessert wine) and each had our own individual charcuterie boards with different meats and cheeses to compliment the wine. (Link in my bio to book this experience!) We learned so much about how wine played a huge part in Hungarys history and economy. We learned about the different regions in Hungary and what wine typically comes from each region as we sipped, laughed and chewed! We practiced self restraint as well, well some of us did lmao hubby finished his charcuterie board before we got to the red wines 💀anyways we had such a fun time and spent some time before hand getting to know the owner and even bought some wine and cheeses to bring back home.
