If you’re heading to Puerto Vallarta, be sure to spend some time in Sayulita. It’s another Pueblo Magico less than an hour from the airport. This small surf town is a jungle oasis and popular for expats, families, and those looking for quiet, wellness experiences. The bay here is surrounded by beautiful hills with villas and boutique hotels overlooking the water. The entire town is walkable and most locals use golf carts to trek anywhere beyond the town center. The area is home to tons of artisan shops and galleries as well as some great local restaurants and bars. Be sure to have a taste of the locally made mezcal and raicilla at CAVA. And don’t forget an al pastor taco from a street vendor on your way out. For those looking for something beyond the small boutique hotel, Punta Mita is about 20 mins west along the coast. Here you can find all the luxurious properties you’re looking for between the @stregispuntamita, @fspuntamita, @susurrosauberge, and @imantaresorts. For mid-range hotels, you can’t go wrong with the @hotel_basalto, @conradpuntademita or @wpuntademita. Messages me for special perks at these properties and tips on Sayulita! #jetsetwithlc #sayulita #puntamita
