This place has the feel of a Hard Rock Hotel for a reason – it recently was! The lobby is set up to feel casino-ish with a huge bar, surrounded by restaurant seating, in front of a huge stage. They often have shows going on that you can see and hear from the check in area. Max, at the front desk is one of the many friendly reception staff. He went out of his way to greet us and seemed genuinely eager to make our stay memorable with an upgrade to a nice room. Thanks Max! The rooms still have a guitar menu, a carry over feature from the old hotel brand. The menu is in your room and gives you a choice of different guitars that they will bring you. The rooms are very nicely finished, and the bed is very comfortable with quality linens and a good pillow selection. Bathroom amenities are full sized, non-disposable ones and none of those little mini-sized, wasteful ones. Based on how the hotel describes itself and the quality of our stay I will be offering a 5-star rating. I would recommend a stay here.
