Location
I was disappointed with the breakfast experience during my recent stay. The breakfast room was small and lacked natural light, which made for an uninviting atmosphere. The selection of food was limited and did not meet the standards I would expect from a hotel of this caliber. In comparison to my previous stay at the Ritz in Singapore, this experience was a letdown. The quality and variety of the food in Toronto were far inferior. For example, I ordered a simple omelette, which was below average in taste. Additionally, I was shocked to be charged $12 for just four slices of toasted bread with butter. While the cost itself isn’t the main issue, it reflects a broader problem with the approach to guest services in North America. The offerings are often subpar, with quality that is frequently below average, and prices that feel unjustified. Overall, this breakfast experience did not live up to my expectations, and I hope the hotel will consider improving its service and value proposition.
