Dauphine Orleans Hotel

Beds are really comfortable. If you want a quiet place, this is not it! Cars driving by at all hours blasting their music made it rough to sleep. Might as well have stayed on Bourbon! There was no insulation at all! Very dingy and in need of some updates and repainting. Very pleasant staff.

The location was excellent. Very walkable to attractions, stores & restaurants. The staff was very helpful & friendly.

The air conditioner was funky. It did not work that well. I asked for a quiet room because I am a light sleeper. Our room overlooked the parking garage which was quite noisy with cars coming & going. The pool water was COLD. They need to update the rooms.

Clean, comfy, jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise. Spacious. Happy stay.

Onsite parking is secure but costs an additional $50+$6.63 tax. The room was good but the door handle in room 228 falls off. I could put it in and turn it but if it was an emergency, dark or smoky it would be difficult and dangerous. Another family was given keys to our room and tried to enter 5 hours after we checked in.
