Love that it’s 21+. We spent Christmas week and compared to seeing the chaos of kids and stroller on the strip, Circa is a breath of fresh. Pool, bars, sports book, and all the restaurants were amazing, especially Barry’s Downtown Prime!!! 10 thumbs up!!
You have to staple your ID to your forehead. Couple of times I had to run to my car for a minute or coming back from a ride share, sometimes with my hands full, I always had to have my ID scanned. I appreciate the security, they were always polite and professional. I know that’s the only way to keep the property 21+. We extended outstayed for a week and knew the procedure. Maybe, if you’re staying, we could have a wrist band that security could scan. Other than that awesome property.
We loved this hotel! It is quite new and looks it. The rooms and public spaces feel swanky and luxurious, with heavy use of navy blue, gold accents, dark wood, and fun wallpaper. We stayed in a mountain view room, which I believe is the least expensive option, but our view of the mountains at sunrise was still gorgeous! Our room was quite large, with a separate seating area with a sectional and coffee table. The bathroom was huge, with a giant shower with great water pressure and a vanity with 2 sinks and a makeup desk. I liked that there was a light-up full-length mirror by the door, as well as a fridge and a safe. Other pluses to the Circa were the security and amenities. To enter the elevator bank to the rooms, there is a turnstile that you cannot get through without scanning your room card. I liked that you select your floor on a screen just before the elevators and it then tells you which elevator to get on. No standing around staring at 6+ elevators guessing which one will open! In terms of amenities, when we checked in my husband and I were each given a coupon for a free glass of champagne at the Legacy Club, the hotel’s rooftop lounge with an absolutely stunning view over the city, mountains, and the strip. This place was amazing! As a hotel guest you also get into the Stadium Swim Club for free (I believe it normally costs $25 per person to enter). Since we were there in December most of the pools were closed but this was still a super cool area, and I can imagine it would be a great place to watch a game on the big screens. Another nice thing is that it is adults-only (they check IDs every time you enter the hotel). The hotel opens directly onto Fremont Street and has lots of other hotels, bars, and restaurants around, while still feeling much calmer than staying on the Strip.
There was no power outlet on one side of the bed. I had to plug my phone in on the wall across from the foot of the bed, which my husband surely loved when my alarm went off before he was up and I had to walk across the room to turn it off. Also, the makeup desk in the bathroom had a light-up makeup mirror on an arm but the arm seemed to be broken. I could not seem to lift the mirror up to an optimal position for makeup application when sitting (or standing) and it rested at a weird angle that meant I had to prop up one side with a soap dish.
I liked the pool (obviously) and the decor in the rooms and the building, the rooftop bar is stunning too.
First off, there’s little to no toiletries in the bathroom, even upon request they don’t have simple stuff such as shower caps, cotton pads and q-tips. There is no coffee machine in the room which is absolutely ridiculous for a wanna be upscale hotel. But the worst part is that I forgot my hair straightener in the room and they are pretending they didn’t find it, absolutely low behavior, won’t return or recommend.
we did not have breakfast included.
pay for parking lot.
