The furniture a little old or was broken
The hotel felt very much like Maine. The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. We were there during a snowstorm and the staff was very considerate and brushed off all the cars in the parking lot. Very thoughtful staff.
Bathroom was a little cramped but that was just the design because of changing a house into a hotel. A minor inconvenience.
The room was very nice, clean, and tastefully decorated. The staff were all very nice. The 24/7 access to coffee, tea, etc was convenient. The continental breakfast was satisfactory. The muffins were delicious. Location made it easy to walk everywhere.
Parking- the driveway and lot were incredibly tight and once we got there we didn't want to leave with the car and lose our spot as the lot was completely full. It was unclear if the hot tub was working as well as the sauna downstairs. No mention was made of either one at check-in. We thought $150 (with tax and fees) was expensive for the offseason with few amenities available.
Right location, right in the heart of downtown, allowing us to park the car and walk everywhere all weekend.
Mostly high carb, high sugar breakfast options. No protein or gluten free options.
