Location was great. It was easy walking distance to many things on South Beach.
Pictures didn't really match what you arrived to. The reception area wasn't great. The bar area was odd and unused. The restaurant wasn't very good. The space was decent but it felt like it needed an overhaul. For instance, there was a "pop up" food stand in the lobby (very expensive) that should have been set up in the bar area, pulling people down into that sunken section. All in all it was OK but could have been great.
Property was good.
They should have stated that they have major construction going on next door and the noise was intolerable.
While the location and facilities may have been fine, the lack of security and the poor follow-up have left a lasting negative impression. I would urge future guests to be cautious with their valuables and to manage their expectations when it comes to post-stay customer service.
I stayed at this hotel in Miami for 5 nights, and unfortunately, my experience was marred by a serious incident. During my stay, approximately $170 in cash was stolen from my room. I reported the issue immediately, and to the hotel’s credit, they initially cooperated. A report was filed, and the manager, Mr. Miller, assured us that the matter would be handled by their corporate office. He even gave me his card and asked me to contact him if I didn’t hear back. However, after leaving the hotel, neither Mr. Miller nor the company followed up on the issue, and our calls have gone unanswered. This lack of communication and accountability has been very disappointing, especially given the seriousness of the situation.
