Great location to walk to many great restaurants. The concierge was full of information and great planning and organizing for seating both at pool and beach. We were also impressed with the welcoming staff, along with a welcome drink and massage.
The drinks at the pool bar were not consistent for taste and quality. Perhaps some people paid for the all inclusive, we did not, and we expected better quality in the mixed drinks we paid for. Beach was a little rocky.
Super relaxing quiet room with a great view. Also pool was fantastic. Great location.
Checkin wasnt friendly, and no cancellation policy with no possibility of insurance was also not friendly. Beach is rocky.
The staff is exceptional. Hugo at La Corona restaurant was attentive and quite accommodating. The restaurants are quite good. The property is located such that it is easy to walk to restaurants and stores. The Villa is small and intimate. Next door is their sister property, which is larger, offers more options for dining and outdoor activities. We hope to return next year.
The staff were so nice. Accommodating and genuinely friendly. The food was great too.
I liked everything
All the people who works there, are SUPER friendly and kind. This was my fifth time at this place and we love it.
Because of the renovations, prices for services are getting a little overprice. The massage service is cheaper in Canada
The food and service staff were incredible!!! Some of the best food of my life. THAT PORK BELLY. All the different corn things! Tortilla chips, tacos, corn soup, etc. Loved the bali beds. The ocean is loud so I ended up waking early every day. Used that to my advantage to grab a bali bed and enjoy the peaceful mornings there. Loved both restaurants - the one has a nice ocean breeze and the other has fancy meals. A/C in the room was good, the beds were confortable and SO BIG they could have fit 3-4 people in there. The balcony view was lovely. We were there on my partner's bday and they brought us cake and champagne to the room! We also loved the turn-down service. Wifi was 100%, full bars even on the beach.
The timeshare sales pitch thing was put on in such a horrible way. We were actually tricked into going by a member of staff saying it was a celebration for the sister hotel's 40th anniversary. This was all set up even BEFORE we checked in. However when we got there to the "celebration"/sales pitch the actual sales person was very nice and tried to clarify things (and he let us go right away instead of sitting through the presentation). Check-out was a bit sloppy with them accidentally charging us $2000 USD instead of $2000 pesos. It was sorted out right away though. Also this is a very minor thing but there were 13!!! pillows on our bed and every day we had to figure out where to pile them all up. A terrible problem to have haha. Also the sunscreen in the store there was $475 pesos, that is CRAZY. Almost $40 CAD. We went to the Oxxo just down the street at it was $214 pesos.
