La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Airport

The cat outside was well fed by staff. He could have used a warm place to sleep if they were going to cater to him though. Front desk staff was very nice. Kudos to the lady that checked us in. Even though we had several issues with our stay, it will not ultimately change my mind on staying with this brand of hotel in the future. I have been overall pleased with other La Quinta's in the past.

The heater in the room smelled like burning pee. Not like burning coil when you turn it on after a while of not being used. Elevator was terrifying to be in. It made a creaky sound, and the doors on one of the elevators stayed closed for longer than normal after we reached our floor. Complimentary body wash was not checked prior to the room being rented. It literally had one small squirt and then it was empty. One of the beds was obviously well used and you literally rolled straight to the middle. You could see the difference between the 2 beds. The breakfast that was cooked and not pre packaged was horrible. The breakfast attendant crept up behind us and made a point to tell us that the eggs were not powdered. Literally no one asked nor was a comment made in regards to the eggs. Needless to say, the eggs were indeed disgusting once we were able to sit down and eat them. They almost tasted burnt. If the eggs were real eggs instead of liquid, the attendant needs to learn how to cook them. The sausage was dry and spicy. I was informed at check in that the hotel was undergoing some minor renovations. It does not excuse some of the issues that I encountered during my stay though.

Hectic location

Just an all around pleasant stay from the staff to the room very excellent

The room very spacious and with a couch perfect for relaxing
