Amazing location, staff were friendly and helpful.
Too expensive, the hotel was fine but not sure how they can justify 5 star hotel prices.
The room was very spacious, and, considering it was a room with city view, it was quiet at night (we had the windows closed). The bed was very comfortable, so were the pillows. We appreciated having the mosquito screens, so the windows could stay open during the daytime. The staff were very friendly, and we enjoyed the charm of the building. Lots of dining options in the neighbourhood, such as Vietnamese and Persian. Great area for walking.
We were not so inspired by the ambience in the breakfast area. It felt a bit sleepy, and there seemed to be only one waiter. We anticipated a long wait, so we went out for breakfast (Delany's).
This was a bit pricey for what it was, except that it was historic and cute, and in a gorgeous location right across from the water. The restaurant was convenient for breakfast. I enjoyed my stay, but in the summer months, it's maybe a bummer to not have AC. Not sure, as we stated in the Spring and it cooled down just fine at night.
Just be aware of a potentially long walk to your room down a hallway that isn't flat, depending on where you're located.
Fabulous location and excellent room. Very friendly and helpful staff.
