not clean hotel room.. need to renovation

Nothing good, honestly.

Firstly, the "beach retreat" offer is very misleading, as it makes you believe it's part of the hotel complex within Legoland. However, it is a separate area across the highway and separate from the actual hotels that are closer to the park, which is not clear when you book, as they offer the "beach retreat" as a room type among the other rooms offered in the resort. Overall it is low quality and "cheap" in every aspect - it's more a highway motel than an actual hotel. There is no reception, other than staff at the entry gate, who handles check-in. There is no room service, no bar, and the only restaurant on site has limited hours and availability. The rooms are supposed to be "2-bedroom". They are actually very small houses that you enter through the main bedroom with a single bathroom and a very small (bathroom-sized) adjoining room with a kids' bunk bed. The kid's room is separated from the main bedroom with a curtain hanging in front of an open doorway, so noise passes through. The bathroom has no windows, despite facing an exterior wall. The whole room is decorated with Lego prints and aberrant colors and the single window also has a Lego-themed curtain. Everything looks, touches and feels very low-cost. Breakfast is offered at the restaurant, in which there was a long wait to be seated (~ 25 minutes). Staff is friendly, but service is slow. Food is - again - cheap. A single tray "to share" is placed on the center of the table with all breakfast food poured inside directly over a paper sheet. There are no divisions or individual containers, so the eggs touch the bacon and sausage, and all the greases and juices mix up on the paper beneath, which we found very distasteful. It's an all-you-can eat offer, and you can ask for additional food, which then comes in individual containers, including fruit and yogurt.

Highky recommend this trip. Everything was excellent.

Property was nice and the kids there really seem to enjoy themselves.

There were things closed at the park which was disappointing especially coming from VA…I also assumed it would be bigger. The food wasn’t the best so we chose to eat off of the resort.

I was charged $35.00 to park my car, Enough blood sucking.
