Staff was courteous and polite.
Our first room had the window AC unit leaking water on the carpet. Bugs were flying outside of the windows and inside the unit I had to kill 3. The bed broke soon as we sat on it with springs that fell on the floor. We exchanged rooms shortly after and the staff were quick to move us but didn't offer any consolation. We visited the hotel pool and it was run amuck with unsupervised children (a group of 6 or so) and my wife was hit in the head by a sharp toy they brought with them. We asked where their parents were and ofc they were upstairs and then they left shortly after; thankfully my wife wasn't permanently injured. The food was the most bland diner food you could find for both breakfast and dinner. They water down the alcoholic drinks significantly and thats the standard policy it seems as when I asked for a stronger cocktail they say i have to pay additional when you cant taste ANY alcohol in the sangria they made or the aperol spritz my wife ordered. I had to order another shot to add to the drinks for it to be a remotely pleasant cocktail.
staff was nice and location was at the end of all the action so it was not busy and easy to find.
We had a room with a balcony. Balcony needed work, turf was old, weeds were everywhere. Water pressure in shower was poor. Might have been booking, or our failure but was hoping to be higher up for a better view of the falls, definitely research floor level when booking next time
It was overlooking the fall. View from the room gets better as you go higher
Rooms and bathrooms and other facilities is not worth the amount they charge saying it’s a 4 star hotel. They don’t even provide any water bottles in the room. They also charge $40-$60 per day for parking on top of room rent. TV is small size and no premium channels though
The blanket was stained with really huge mark looks like someone was threw up on it.
Staff were helpful.
Parking is very expensive. Booking.com price was different from hotel price but they did fix it. I don’t think the AC worked very well in our room. Location was ok. Advertising made it seem like there was an outdoor pool too but that’s the other Marriott hotel.
The location and the view is the best
The staff is very stupid and not listening for the reason that we try to explain, we are group of 5 people and book the room for 5 people included breakfast but they say we are allowed only 4 people for breakfast, they waste my time to go back and forth to talk with the receptionist and come back to M to explain that we are allowed to have breakfast for 5 , they ruin my breakfast and my day, I have a bad day and bad feeling about Marriott forever
The staff was friendly. Quick check-in and easy check out.
I parked my car across the street in the pouring rain. The beds in the room need to be replaced, very worn in the room we stayed in.
Attentive staff; Starbucks in the lobby; travel concierge in lobby; lobby with lots of comfy seating options.
