When it comes to food having a variety of options is essential as i do suffer major allergies and have dietary restrictions. The food was delicious when I dined however countless times I tried to order something they shared they didn't have it. After multiple times of being told no you can get a bit disappointed , but i still found something. One complaint while ordering a drink from the pool area i expressed im allergic to orange and cannot drink orange juice. I stated multiple times and opted for a pineapple margarits. When my drink came they said they didn't have pineapple so made it with orange juice. After the fact I explained multiple times I cannot drink orange. I even said I would take a cucumber spicy marg, but not even that suggestion came. To be served a drink completely opposite after stating allergies could have turned fatal as my epi pen was in my room. Please if someone tells you they are allergic multiple times and they give you alternatives please take those into consideration before making a huge mistake. I was not charged for the drink but the fear of them getting it wrong a second time worried me so I declined the chance to make it right . travel with chairs. I use a cane and chair but when I do not have someone else the tub can be risky. Luckily the tub was low and there was a rail inside. The pillows are aweful and the towels rough. Despite minor disappointments I loved my stay. My breakfast was delicious and cocktails from the bar when we visited in the evening were stellar. Customer service across the board was phenomenal. I can not thank the staff enough for their kindness and hospitable vibes during my two night stay.
Room was joined with another room without any isolation and we were part of their start (violation of privacy). Amenities were unkept and unusable. The parking was overpriced, the food had to be purchased in insanely overpriced restaurant next door and when I wanted to address these issues, manager “couldn’t be found”
Add a coffee bar in the lobby. It’s cumbersome to have to go to the rest. And what’s up with the $40 parking fee? A bit of a rip off.
Location
- loud neighbors - the water from sink faucet smelled like sewer - no bathroom fan - can’t connect to internet through TV - WiFi was not that good - no river or lake view - loud AC unit - very compact parking lot
The only negative was the sauna was broken the entire weekend I was there. 4 different staff told me it would be turned on at all different times of the day. It never was. Sign said it was open from 5am-10pm... it was off the entire trip. Would have appreciated staff tell us instead that it would not be on and wasn't working or whatever, cause we kept getting our hopes up.
Convenient location - excellent value - nice restaurant
