M HOUSE Hotel

All staff was wonderful and helpful.

The only down side is the location to take a car and park

I booked a last minute trip to this hotel for my family. The room itself is nice enough and some of the staff are friendly. The reason for my 1 star review is because I walked into my room and caught the housekeeping manager going through my wife's bag with our passports, bank cards, and sensitive documents. My wife and I were both at breakfast and she asked me to go to check if the room had been cleaned yet (she had asked about an hour prior). I get up and head to the bedroom. I noticed the door was open and thought that was strange as I didn't hear anyone inside. I entered and there in the corner of the room stood the housekeeping manager. She had my wife's backpack on the bed and was going through the front pocket very intensely. She looked up and I could see in her eyes exactly what was going on. She began pleading with me but I immediately went to the front desk to report what happened. The front desk took her side and told me they were investigating the hotel due to some smell (?) that was in the hallway. I am sorry but you don't go through someone's bag this way. EVER. They phoned the hotel director who was offsite and he made his way to us. He apologised profusely and I told him we were checking out the next morning and wanted a refund for remaining nights. To which he agreed. After the incident, I went online to read the reviews for this hotel and it turns out there are several cases of theft at this hotel!!! I thought to myself how great it was that I caught the woman red-handed and hopefully the hotel would be grateful and take care of the problem. However, the next morning when we were leaving, the same woman was still working! The hotel staff all told me how "shocked" they were to hear of the incident, but clearly it has happened many many times. They also don't seem too concerned about addressing the rampant theft happening in their hotel.

Great location

Hotel is located perfectly within the old part of Palma and is designed with taste.

We were given the room below the rooftop pool and unfortunately it smelled extremely humid and had moldy black spots all over the edges of the walls and ceiling. To be honest, they shouldn't be putting people in that room given its current condition. I mentioned/complained about the rooms condition twice to two different staff members but they couldn't do anything about it...

Location was great. Close to centre and main bus station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good with lots of choice.

Definitely overpriced for what it is.

Great communal space and lovely rooms. Staff were helpful and the hotel is in a great location.

Only criticism is the breakfast - buffet was good, just the cooked options could be better.

The room was spacious, although the bathroom was a little cosy. It was very quiet inside the Hotel and although there was a little street noise during the day it was quiet at night, allowing a good night sleep.

Whilst there was tea in the room there was no coffee making facilities. The shower was good but the toilet and wash basin seemed "crowded."
