CopenhagenThe location is the main thing as it is in a great position. The staff are very good. The public areas are comfortable.
Split level room was awkward. The breakfast room got very crowded (the food is good). We arrived on the day of the King’s Run which makes the hotel almost inaccessible. Avoid that day at all costs!
The room our view was spectacular. The bed was Comfy. The breakfast was the best I have ever had. For our 40th there was champagne and a balloon. It was magical.
The bathtub shower. It’s very high and not good with mobility issues.
Outstanding views of harbor from our corner suite on the 6th floor ( hotel gave us an upgrade!). Very kind, professional staff who graciously shared their expertise. Delicious breakfast with many Danish foods. Location was quiet despite being so close to the tourist area.
Great hotel in an excellent location on Nyhavn. Many sights within walking distance. Quiet hotel with cozy rooms. Some rooms are a bit cramped and have no wardrobe. Rooms with a view are more expensive. My room (223) was very dark as there was only a small window. Very helpful, friendly and competent staff. Excellent breakfast buffet.
My first room #103. (changed after one night) Very small, no cupboard just hangers on a rack. Two drawers but only one could be opened. One was blocked by the bedside table.
Location and the old storehouse charm with lits of beams!
The last single room was too tiny!
