This property is outstanding, value for money is in the top end and I can’t wait to come back!
Everything about the property was great. Location was awesome. Walked everywhere! Great roof top bar and view from the room were beautiful
Had a wonderful stay at hotel madame reve. From the moment we checked in, the hotel staff were so warm and welcoming. The view from the rooftop was beautiful. The rooms overlooking the courtyard had an amazing view and the sun lit the room beautifully in the afternoon. There was a taxi stop just across the hotel so it was always easy to get a taxi. The location was great, close to a lot of landmarks and walkable to other neighborhoods (La Marais, Saint Germain) Overall a great stay and thank you to the very kind staff that made our stay feel very welcoming.
-there was no buffet at breakfast, only a la carte.
We tried twice to book a facial treatment via phone. The first time, reception informed us they would check availability and call us back. No one followed up. We called again later, were told the same thing — and again, no one got back to us. Before heading out, we left our mobile number and explicitly asked to be contacted if a treatment could be arranged. No call came. Yet, during checkout, we were surprised to find two facial treatments added to our bill. When we raised the issue, the staff pointed to an email allegedly confirming our booking — sent at 9:00 p.m. the night before, without any verbal confirmation or response to our inquiries. After we firmly refused to pay for a service we never confirmed, received, or were informed about, we were told the reception would check with the manager. Eventually, the charges were removed, but there was no apology, no sense of ownership, and certainly no understanding of the frustration this caused. We were left with a very unpleasant feeling — not what you expect from a 5-star hotel. This situation could have been resolved easily with better communication and basic hospitality. Instead, we felt disrespected and poorly treated, which sadly tainted an otherwise promising stay.
