WhistlerI went to the pub and had a smash burger with fries and a coke, it was good. Very quiet in the room, couldn't here the neighbors at all
Didn't like the colone smell in the hallways and restaurant area
Nextdoor restaurant Red Bistro was fabulous service and amazing food.
The service is both restaurants was very slow evening and morning. We had to keep trying to get their attention.
Beds are super comfy, rooms are quiet. Amenities are great for a chill vacation--free kayak/canoe/paddleboard and bike rental, great porch & deck. Location is the chill part of Whistler, but not far from the Village.
Room and location
Just fabulous! This hotel is superb, in a beautiful location overlooking their own Nita Lake ! We booked a suite for our 2 night stay and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room was huge, modern, stylish and had great amenities and quality L’Ocitane toiletries in the bathroom. The large king size bed was very comfortable and there is ample wardrobe space, with ironing facilities, a safe and luxury green velvet Nita Lake robes and slippers supplied. The huge bathroom had a large 2 person bath (with salt cubes provided), a large shower and geo thermal heated floor system. The hotel makes the most of the lake view and has two great restaurants (The Den, and, Cure) which both have lake view terraces and serve a combination of fine dining in the Den or more casual dining in Cure. Breakfast was superb. There is a free shuttle (provided for guests) to and from the hotel to Whistler village and it was amazing to see the Rocky Mountaineer train even had its own station stop, at the rear of the hotel. The quieter, less touristy, Creek Gondola (that takes you to the top of Whistler Mountain) is also really well located and just a 5 minute walk across the way from the Hotel. We enjoyed walking to Whistler village using the Valley Trail which passes right next to the hotel and is an easy (mostly lakes and tree shaded) walk. The hotel staff are all superb, friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and enjoying having meals and drinks by the lake. We have already earmarked a return to this beautiful hotel for an anniversary treat.
Just a minor comment that the hotel is very popular with both guests and external customers using the excellent Valley Trail route access that passes right by Nita Lake Lodge for cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and water sports etc. Many stop to eat and drink mostly at the delicious casual dining ‘Cure’ restaurant (which we also loved) and this is right next door to the Den fine dining restaurant. So be prepared to possibly share outdoor eating space. We chose to eat in the lovely ‘Den’ fine dining restaurant, (as we decided to have a special romantic meal on our last night), and asked to be seated on the Den lake view terrace early one evening. We had just ordered and a large family table of @ 10 walkers were seated next to us on a terrace table, as an overflow from the Cure Restaurant, and were all eating burgers and chips. This did slightly spoil the ambience of wanting a special, fine dining restaurant meal experience, but is a consequence of everyone wanting to appreciate the beautiful lake view.
Wonderful location with the lake backdrop. Rooms were first class, as was everything else about our stay. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you’re going to Whistler.
